I am so excited that this term is coming to an end. I have never really been excited about the writing process. I think that this term for me was difficult because I procrastinated on a ton of my assignments. I waited so long to finish my final paper then stressed to get it done and turned in. I have been stretching myself so far in my studying, my house, my kids, my husband, one daughter started track this year and the other started T-Ball. My husband and I are in charge of the T-ball team and I have to manage juggling the team, the house and school. Needless to say my house has taken a back seat to everything else.
This break is much needed and I plan on getting some much needed R and R and also getting my schedule down so that I have time for everyone.
After that rant I guess my area of needed improvement would be time management. This is something that I have struggled with the whole term. Advise to future Comp students would be to stay on top of things. Don't put things off to the last minute. Time flies and you can't get it back.
My final thoughts for the term would be YIPPEE! I am getting closer to the end and closer to starting my career.
Time to take a deep breath and enjoy my family for a couple weeks!!
Thanks for every thing guys.

How do I feel?
Well my paper is almost done. I am hoping to finish it tomorrow and send it off to the writing center for review tomorrow. I feel, HMM, I don't know how I feel. I am hoping that I can accomplish what I set out to accomplish with this paper. To give an awareness of alternatives to medications of ADHD medications. I hope that I did a good job with this. I am truly just ready to be done and take a mental break from school. I am ready for a break. Even if it is only for a week! Hope I get it done tomorrow.

Will I continue to BLOG?
I am not sure if I will continue to blog or not. Sometimes I find when I am frustrated or upset it does help me to get it out thru the blog. However, I don't get a lot of feedback so it really seems like I am just talking to myself and that is no fun for me. I do that on a daily basis. I like to blog but am not sure if it is for me or not. Only time will tell exactly what I will do with my blog page after this class is over.

AH-HA
My AH-HA moment came when I was procrastinating writing my first draft and I actually sat down to write it. The words and ideas and everything just seemed to flow out of my brain and onto the paper. It meant that I needed to trust myself and just do it. Writing to me always was difficult and I really did not want to do it. I hated having to have a length requirement. But once I started to write I found it wasn't too bad. That was my moment in time when the Nike slogan was perfect, "Just Do It". I just needed to do it and get it over with, and it wasn't bad!

The last six weeks!
WOW is the word that comes to mind to the last six weeks. I don't think I have ever felt so overwhelmed. My house has been struggling to stay healthy with all the little "bugs" that the kids bring home from school. My youngest daughter had surgery which took two weeks to recover from. Recently my oldest daughter came down with strep throat. That's just to name the personal things.
During this last six weeks I have found it rather hard to not feel like I am falling behind. I seem to put things off to the last minute and then struggle to make sure that I get things done. I feel like I don't have enough time in the day to get everything I would like to get done. UGH!!
I have not fallen behind in my work yet but feel like if I don't figure things out soon I could very well have a problem staying above water.
Thanks for reading and now on to work on my papers that have become real sense of stress for me lately!

academic challenges
When I read this question I had to take a step back and really think of the answer. I think for me that the answer to this is pretty common among most college students. Time management. I have two kids and a husband and I take care of everything in the home. I also help my mother with their house because they are both unable to take care of the cleaning. So finding time to get my homework done before I see the night turn into the next day is definitely a challenge. I often find myself waiting until everyone else is asleep and then doing it. Which means 9 pm before I even begin.
I have adjusted well I think and will be very grateful for the experience once I am done and can finally get a good night sleep!

Plagiarism post
I think that citing your sources to avoid plagiarism is crucial in giving credit where credit is due. People have worked very hard to obtain the information that they have obtained and for someone to steal that information and not give them credit is just wrong. I would be very upset if I worked long and hard on something and someone knowingly used my information without giving me my proper credit.
Also when we cite someone else's work we also give the reader the option to further investigate what we have written. It gives our own work credibility.
